Cozumel Diving: Paso de Cedral and Chankanaab

Yesterday was an opportunity to do more diving in Cozumel at two dive sites: Paso de Cedral and Chankanaab. It was another day of beautiful reef formations, turtles, crabs, eels, a barracuda, and watching a beautiful speckled ray glide across the sand.

There’s a large moray eel in the bottom center of the screen under the coral lurking in the darkness.
Another eel with its mouth open under the right part of the coral
A magnificent ray floats across the bottom with some remoras underneath
A much clearer view of another eel.
An adolescent turtle chilling out on the sand
And then the turtle slowly ascends to the surface
A large spotted trunkfish swims in the open ocean
A nursery of infant fish amongst the coral
A barracuda biding its time until something tasty comes by
A large sea turtle passing by
A group of spiny lobster hidden inside the coral
